At last a good night's sleep, so we're up at 6.00am and ready to make the most of our one day in Buenos Aires - a huge city with a population of 20 or 30 million people, depending which taxi driver you ask. Everyone speaks Spanish - very little English. The weather is perfect - 28 degrees with a refreshing breeze, bright sunshine and stunning blue sky. Tony and I caught a cab from our lovely Awwa Suites hotel in Palermo to Neil's equally impressive downtown Howard Johnson hotel in Florida Street. 70 Pesos per head (AUD $18) bought us an all day ticket on a hop-on, hop-off Buenos Aires 'open' bus.
Buenos Aires is famous for Tango. Don't pay to go to a Tango Show - just hop off the bus at La Boca - they're Tangoing in the street.
